I was inspired by this post and this one about their current setup. I thought of doing the same! In short, my setup is very basic compared to a few people I have seen who have fancy LEDs.
The main priority when I work is to have few distractions as possible. My work starts in the morning at 08:00/09:00 and ends around 16:00/17:00 afternoon. I work as a consultant for a Norwegian company. As a consultant, I am working now on a project for The Norwegian Medicines Agency (Statens Legemiddelverket).
We are working with lots of exciting stuff that shapes the quality and access to medicines in Norway. This requires long hours, many meetings, lots of coffee, and so on. With all of this, a comfortable setup is essential.
Monitor
The name of the two monitors I am using is HP z27n G2. I usually like to only have a single monitor and then use the key shortcuts to swap between desktops (ctrl + Wind + right/left arrow). However, when reading or writing documentation it is nice to have two monitors. I have also noticed my memory is not the best so I often need to switch back to the desktop which can become annoying, this is not necessary with two monitors anymore.
